WATER RESTRICTIONS LIFTED FOR JARVIS TOWNSEND AND HAGERSVILLE

The water restriction ban in Jarvis, Townsend and Hagersville has officially been lifted. Haldimand County made the announcement today and the ban was lifted at noon. CEO of the County Don Boyle tells myFM the ban had been in place for about a week.

People in Bloomsburg and the surrounding area are getting fed up with the O-P-P Shooting Range at the Bonnie Heath Pits. Provincial Police have been using the pits as a training ground for their weapons since 1985.

After weeks of hard work and preparation, Annaleise Carr's swim coach says the 16-year old is good and ready to go. Paula Jongerden says Annaleise has worked extremely hard, training some 15 hours a week in the water, not counting off land workouts.

Jim Oliver wants to serve another 4 years as the councillor for Ward 4. The incumbent has filed his papers to run again and will be up against Randy Marshall. Oliver has been a councillor in Norfolk for the past 8 years and notes he loves his job and he loves serving his constituents.

POLICE RELEASE THE NAMES OF THE TWO MEN KILLED IN HIGHWAY 6 CRASH

Police have released the names of the two people killed in Monday's crash along Highway 6. They are 29-year old John Hill and 33-year old Peter Bomberry both of Six Nations of the Grand River.

A familiar face is hoping to serve the community for another term in Ward 7. Harold Sonnenberg has officially tossed his hat in the race for the upcoming Municipal Election. Sonnenburg has been a councillor for Ward 7 since amalgamation and has sat on numerous committee's in the area.
