The 2014 class of the Norfolk County Sports Hall of Recognition features some iconic names in Norfolk history. Roger Demeester, Jean Montgomery, Megan Timph and the late Wallace Spud Bush will be inducted into the hall in July.

POLICE LOOKING FOR SUSPICIOUS MAN IN WATERFORD

Police are asking people living along Lingwood Drive in Waterford to be on the lookout. On Wednesday a homeowner caught a man trying to break into their home through a basement window. Police say once the pair made eye contact the suspect took off running.

VEHICLE AND SCHOOL BUS COLLIDE IN TILLSONBURG

Fortunately no one was injured after a vehicle and a school bus collided in Tillsonburg. It happened on Thursday afternoon when a vehicle rear-ended a bus along Broadway and Growrie Street. Police say there were 14 children on the bus ranging from 4-years old to 11-years old.

ICE FISHING OFF TO A GREAT START

It has been a great start to the ice fishing season on Lake Erie this year. Huts have operating since January and fishermen are hoping they stay open until March. Fishing guide Daryl Propper tells myFM the fish are really biting this year.

We do have a few closures and cancellations to tell you about this evening. The Steve Nash basketball clinic in St. Williams has been postponed due to the weather. Figure skating programs at the Waterford Arena have been cancelled because of a water main break.

A special weather statement remains in effect for Norfolk. Looks like we could get hit with another 2 cm's of snow this evening. Constable Ed Sanchuk tells myFM the Norfolk OPP have already responded to a number of minor collisions today.

VISITATION BAN AT THE NGH 4B UNIT

A visitation ban is now in place at the Norfolk General Hospital's 4B unit. Conditions have worsened overnight and officials say they are doing everything they can to contain the Influenza Type A outbreak from spreading. Gerry Hamill is the hospital's Communications specialist.
