Andy's Drive In is serving up delicious burgers to help kids in need. Dale and Michele Docker, owner's of the Andy's, had entered a contest by 3M and won a new flat top grill. Along with the grill 3M would donate a thousand dollars to a charity of their choice.

TRUCK STOLEN WITH RIFLE INSIDE

Someone stole a truck in Hagersville containing a rifle. Early Wednesday morning an unknown entered a public parking last on King Street and stole a locked black 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. Inside the truck was Remington 597 .22 Calibre rifle with the serial number C2785950.

SENIOR LOSES THOUSANDS AFTER TELEPHONE SCAM

Another phone scam cost a senior thousands of dollars. The senior received a bunch of phone calls from the suspects claiming to be police, a lawyer and a relative. The "family member" was in trouble and needed the senior to transer money to Western Union in Lebanon.

Police are looking for any information from the public regarding a theft of multiple items in South West Oxford Township. Sometime between July 22 and July 30 unknowns forced their way in to a 48 foot Arctic Cat trailer parked on the owners property on Hamilton road.

Thursday afternoon was a pain the in butt for firefighers in downtown Simcoe. According to the authorities, someone who tossed a cigarette caused nearly $2-thousand dollars in damages to a business along Robinson Street.

PROFANITIES SPRAY PAINTED ON WINDHAM PUBLIC SCHOOL

Between the evening of July 24 to July 26 Windham Public School was vandalized. Unknowns went onto the property and spray painted various profanities along the building. Police are asking to public for assistance in identifying who did this.

The Norfolk OPP is urging boaters to stay sober during the upcoming long weekend. The OPP and other forces are teaming up for Operation Dry Water -- a national campaign to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by impaired operation of boats and other watercraft.

The OPP wants to make sure farmers have their irrigation spray systems aimed so they're not hitting the road after an incident Wednesday morning saw a driver in convertible get drenched by the downpour of water.
