Mayor Charlie Luke has been fielding complaints of late, mainly from Simcoe, regarding people using their front lawns as driveways. Residents have called in to complain how their neighbors are parking on the lawn, instead of using available street parking.

A SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE SCARE AT PORT DOVER POST OFFICE

The O-P-P is investigating a report from postal employees in Port Dover about a suspicious package addressed to police. Police say they received the call Tuesday morning and immediately secured the package in a safe and secure area at the Port Dover Canada Post Office.

A search is underway in Port Maitland for a possible crash victim. Just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning, police and emergency crews rushed to a single vehicle crash along the shoreline of Lake Erie.

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT ISSUED FOR HALDIMAND-NORFOLK

Environment Canada has issued special weather statement for Haldimand-Norfolk. It warns of heavy rainfall tonight -- up 25 mm possible -- there's also a risk of a thunderstorm. More rain is expected through the day tomorrow. Expect passing showers through today as well.

OPP BRIEFS INCLUDE DOG ATTACKING MAN AND MISCHIEF AT WATERFORD PUBLIC SCHOOL

The Norfolk OPP are looking into a bizarre theft in Port Dover. Police say on Sunday, between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., unknowns went to a Mardon Avenue address, entered the residence, and removed an adult dancing pole from the bedroom as well as two door handles.
