Approximately 400 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen from a fuel tank in Middleton. The incident happened in the early morning on Thursday on Bell Mill Side Road.

OPP SAYS IT'S THE TIME OF YEAR TO KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR MARIHUANA GROW OPERATIONS

OPP say when the corn is growing it usually means illegal marihuana grow operations are growing as well. They're asking for eagle eye citizens to keep a look out for illicit crops that typically pop up in swamps, wooded areas, along rivers and rural rental properties and even corn fields.

THERE'S BEEN A CUT IN SOYBEAN ACREAGE

Canadian farmers have either planted or intend to plant more corn for grain, wheat, barley and oats this spring. Statistics Canada says growers are cutting soybean and canola acreages. National soybean acreage -- at 5-point-4 million -- is down 2-point-5 per cent from 2014.

There's word dragons have their sights set on Waterford. The Invasion of Dragons Dragon-boat Festival is taking over the pumpkin town on July 25th to help back the county's cancer support and resource program along with the CIBC run for the cure.

A stolen motorcycle on Tuesday morning marks the fifth crime involving parked vehicles in Norfolk over three days from Sunday to Tuesday all happening in the early morning. Tuesday morning unknowns took the motorcycle from the owners driveway on Chapel Street in Simcoe.

Police were called after concerned residents noticed a woman on an E-Bike with a Toddler strapped into a child seat going down the street. On Tuesday around 7pm the OPP went out to Norfolk Street North and located the E-Bike, woman and child.

ROBBERY AT THE LONE WOLF SMOKE SHOP

Lone Wolf Smoke Shop was robbed on Tuesday with a man demanding money from the female clerk while holding a firearm. Around 10:45 pm the police were called to the shop to investigate.

A heads up when heading to the grocery store today. A recall has been issued for several frozen uncooked breaded chicken products because they may be contaminated with salmonella.
