Homeowners on Head Street in Simcoe woke up to an unpleasant surprise Wednesday morning. They called the police after someone spray-painted profanities on their home. The Norfolk OPP is hoping someone in the neighborhood saw something and will come forward with information.

Police say they have recovered the stolen truck used in a crime spree in Haldimand. Tips from the public lead OPP investigators to a Forfar Street West address where officers located the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado abandoned in a field.

GRAND ERIE DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD GRADUATION RATES WELL BELOW PROVINCIAL AVERAGE

Ontario released its 2015 graduation rates for our local school boards and Grand Erie once again ranked near the bottom. On the four-year graduation scale, high schools within the Grand Erie Board improved slightly to 62.3 percent and for five years they were 74 percent.
