Join the North Shore Erie Amateur Astronomers (NSEAA) and see the Sun through specialized solar telescopes that allow for eye-safe observing!
Please note that these events are weather dependant. Check the club’s Facebook page to see if it is canceled.
Never look at the Sun with the naked eye or through unfiltered optics. To safely observe the Sun requires using specialized telescopes with filters that protect the eyes from the Sun’s harmful rays.

Tomorrow: Indwell’s Hope and Homes & Open House at Hambleton Hall from 4:00 – 6:00 pm
Indwell is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Hambleton Hall with a FREE community open house on Thursday, July 16 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 203 John St. Neighbours, friends, and anyone curious are invited to drop in, tour the space, and learn more about Indwell’s programs and services. The celebration is combined with the annual Hope and Homes fundraising event, featuring a ticketed BBQ dinner by Gator BBQ, along with sweet treats from the Indulge Ice-Cream Truck. Guests can also enjoy displays of tenant talents and have the opportunity to experience community connection. Both the open house and BBQ are drop-in; however, pre-registration is required for the BBQ to ensure adequate food. Admission to the open house is free.
