Coffee lovers have an easy way to give back tomorrow as Tim Hortons Camp Day returns on Wednesday, July 15.
For one day only, 100 per cent of the purchase price from coffee sold at participating Tim Hortons restaurants will be donated to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
Brendhan Nelson, General Manager at Tim Hortons on the Queensway in Simcoe explains.
The programs help underserved youth build confidence, leadership skills and life-changing experiences through camp and community programs.
Every year, they make sure to have the community play a role in the event.
Since Camp Day began in 1991, the annual fundraiser has raised more than $275 million, helping nearly 350,000 young people.
Guests can also support the campaign by purchasing a Camp Day bracelet or a Campfire Donut, with all proceeds going directly to the foundation.
Nelson says staff in Norfolk County look forward to Camp Day and enjoy a little friendly competition with other restaurants.
Whether it’s one coffee or two, every cup purchased on Wednesday helps support young people and gives customers another reason to enjoy their daily Tim Hortons run.
Listeners can also watch for live coverage from the Queensway Tim Hortons as the station broadcasts on location during Camp Day.
