Norfolk County’s agricultural community is mourning the loss of two longtime seasonal farm workers from Jamaica who were killed in a crash near Simcoe last week.
According to the Hamilton Spectator, the victims have been identified as David Lindsay and Rupert Bell, employees of Schuyler Farms in Simcoe. The men died on June 18 when the farm utility vehicle they were travelling in collided with an SUV at the intersection of Blue Line Road and Concession 6 in Woodhouse.
Ontario Provincial Police previously confirmed that two occupants of the off-road utility vehicle died at the scene, while a third passenger was taken to hospital.
OPP say the investigation remains ongoing, and no charges have been announced.
