Pride month is starting off with a bang in Simcoe with the much talked about Rainbow Crosswalk finally becoming a reality.
Norfolk County confirms that, weather permitting, the new crosswalk is slated to be installed at the intersection of Norfolk Street and Union Street in Simcoe during the week of June 5th.
It is funded by a project called Ryder’s Rainbow – named after Ryder Mandryk who went to council making this request last year.
