Two serious collisions involving motorcycles in Norfolk County on Highway 24.
The first collision occurred this morning when a car was traveling down Highway 24 and attempted to turn onto St. Johns Road East.
At this time a 54-year-old Norfolk County man on a motorcycle collided with the rear of the vehicle.
He sustaining serious, life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced deceased.
Then around 12:45 p.m. officers say a car was traveling down East Quarterline Road when a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Highway 24 collided with the vehicle.
The 60-year-old Haldimand County man who was driving the motorcycle was transported by air ambulance to a London hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Both investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile, police are putting out a reminder to please obey road closure signs.
Following the collision Monday morning, a 77-year-old Norfolk County man drove straight through a barricade set up to prevent access to the road causing significant damage to their vehicle.
He was charged with careless driving.
