Two teenagers with a desire to enjoy Halloween are giving back to the Simcoe Salvation Army Food Bank. The Trick or Treat Food Drive helps to stock up the Salvation Army’s emergency food supply for those in need within our community. Terri Simmons is the Community and Family Services Manager, and she goes over how this all came to be.
The teens will be collecting canned food items in the Lynndale Heights area in Simcoe. Of course, if you aren’t on the route, you can still help out by delivering canned food to the Salvation Army. Last year, during their inaugural run, an SUV was stuffed with donations. The goal this year is to have two.
