You have a chance to relive a piece of Canadian history deep in the heart of Norfolk.
The War of 1812 re-enactment takes over Backus this weekend.
Norfolk’s Militia Heritage Regiment helps put on the event to recreate what life was like in Norfolk in 1812.
That was Curator Sheila Johnson.
More than 200 soldiers and settlers set up camp in the Heritage Village for this popular event.
Activities take place daily from 10 am until 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
