It’s been a record-setting year thus far for the Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign in Simcoe.
We spoke with the Salvation Army’s Hal Whitcomb.
On top of that, the United Steel Workers Local 8782 out of Nanticoke donated $17-grand to the cause on Friday.
The Steelworkers also donated over 11-hundred pounds of food.
The Kettle Campaign Fundraising goal has been pegged at $100,000. Whitcomb says they are well on their way to reaching that target.
