The Alzheimer Society of Haldimand and Norfolk will be celebrating their 25th anniversary next month.
Director of Development Aileen Bradshaw says the most significant changes they have seen over these years has been the number of people who come out to seek help or to provide support.
The Alzheimer Society started back in 1993 with a small group of people who got a $20,000 grant to open up a location in Simcoe.
Next month, the Alzheimer Society will celebrate their 25th anniversary on World Alzheimers Day, September 21, at the Port Dover Community Centre.
The evening features a four-course dinner and a special address by Dr. Carol Greenwood, a professor, and researcher from the University of Toronto.
