A wave of experts and environmentalists will be in Simcoe this Friday to take part in this year’s Long Point World Biosphere Reserve Conference. It takes place at the Simcoe Rec Centre. There will be at least ten speakers at the conference, including those representing Birds Study Canada, Canadian Wildlife Services, the Nature Conservancy of Canada, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Foresty.
Organizers say this will provide an excellent opportunity for academic and student researchers, government agencies, and the public to take part in a lively exchange of ideas related to local environmental sustainability and conservation. It runs from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
