Ride Norfolk has hit a roadblock when it comes to their plan of making stops in Brantford.
Under the former Liberal government, they promised money for our bus system that would see Ride Norfolk travel to the Darling Street bus terminal.
On Tuesday, Norfolk CAO David Cribbs said the county is not overly optimistic that they get this funding now.
This service has been requested frequently as this would also connect people with GO Transit and Via Rail.
Ride Norfolk was eligible to receive up to $765,000 over five years to provide this service.
With the change of government, the county has been notified that the funding has been put on hold.
