ation into the treatment of horses in Waterford.
Pictures of horses were posted on Facebook on Friday afternoon by Natalie Tupper of Waterford showing the animals looking frail and malnourished.
She said in the post that after trying to speak with several members in a position of authority and various agencies about her concerns for the horses, she was left to turn to social media to help try and help the animals.
At the time of this story that post on Facebook has been shared nearly 3000 times.
The Norfolk OPP confirm that they have been in contact with Tupper and that an investigation is open.
Because of the nature of the case, the OSPCA is being brought in as well as a vet, and they will be investigating on Saturday.
We have reached out to the OSPCA but have not heard back at this time.
