The Norfolk OPP is investigating what they’re calling “a dangerous mischief incident” at the beach in Port Dover.
Officers were called to the beach on Monday afternoon after small children and members of the public found rusty nails planted along the shoreline.
OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk says it’s fortunate no one was seriously injured.
Police say about 100 rusty nails were located and removed.
Anyone with information about this incident is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
