The Norfolk General Hospital is on the last leg of its Building a Better Hospital Campaign.
Recently, the hospital has received several cheques, and those donations add up to over $10-million of their $13-million goal.
NGH Foundation Director Jennifer White says when they get so close to their end goal, momentum starts to dwindle, but she is asking people to please try and keep it going.
This money will be used to expand the hospital to make a new home for the Surgical Day Care unit, rebuild the Labour & Delivery into state-of-art Birthing Suites and renovate the Minimally Invasive Operating Room.
The hospital is currently working with the Ministry of Health for approvals to its plan and will soon involve architects and engineers moving forward into the New Year.
