Voters in the Port Rowan and surrounding area have no shortage of candidates to choose from in this October’s municipal election.
John Peazel has filed his nomination papers to run in Ward 1.
Peazel has 50-years of banking and business and says he has dealt with all levels of government on many occasions.
The owner of the Courtland Bakery says he’d like to use this experience for the betterment of the County.
If elected to power, Peazel said he’d like to address the county’s troubling finances, have the County purchase the Robinson Street building in Simcoe and put a hold on hiring new county employees.
Peazel also stated he wasn’t against a new multi-use recreational center as long as the four thousand people who signed a petition for it fundraise.
