Lots of new construction in Norfolk but it still can’t match the record-breaking development we saw in 2017.
The numbers aren’t too far off, but building permits are down around 11 percent as of the end of October.
That equates to 1020 building permits issues, 215 for new residential units, for a total construction value of $87.5 million.
Last year at this time, we set a record at $114 million.
Planning Applications and Building Permits are down from 2017 as well
Additional stats for the Economic Outlook on Norfolk to-date are expected to be revealed at the Budget Orientation meeting for the new council.
