The rush Halloween ended on a good note for local food banks. Three spooky attractions across the County collected canned food goods on October 31st in a way to give back. In Port Dover, Skeleton’s on Leslie put a dent in local hunger. Here is the owner and Illusionist Lucas Wilson who put on a fantastic light show.
Meanwhile, Talbot Street Terror in Simcoe, a more adult-oriented scarefest, collected 180 pounds of food and over $150 to go to the food bank in Simcoe.
The Hell’O’Ween Crematorium in Simcoe also collected food but was unable to provide an update at the time of this story.
