A report looking at Elgin Avenue Public School is set to come before the Grand Erie District School Board on Monday night.
The first meeting back for the school board, which contains some new trustees, will have a report dedicated to the public school in Simcoe.
Originally, the school was set to undergo extensive renovations but earlier this year costs to repair to the building came in much high to allocated in the budget.
Cost analysis showed that it would cost over $14 million to do the repairs, upgrades, and additions with the board only setting aside $8.6 million.
The details of the report are under wraps until later today when the official agenda for the meeting is released to the public.
Meetings typically take place at 7:15 p.m. at the Education Centre in Brantford.
