A man from Simcoe is looking to reclaim his seat as a trustee with the Brant-Haldimand-Norfolk Catholic District School Board.
Dennis Blake served as a trustee from 2000 to 2014 but fell just shy at the voting polls during the last election.
As a parent himself, Blake says he understands their concerns.
His says if elected, he will continue to ensure student success and to be a voice for parents.
Blake would also like to see more french emersion added in the local Catholic School Board system.
He is also a strong advocate for the installment of a sidewalk for students at Holy Trinity.
