Food Trucks Friday’s started off with a hit.
This past Friday saw the first of many food trucks roll into town by Talbot Gardens as part of Simcoe’s Downtown Revitalization efforts with the Downtown Simcoe BIA and the County.
We spoke with Student Planner Meagan Doan about why it was important to have initiatives like this in the county.
BIA General Manager Jim McGimspey sees this as another step forward in their partnership with Norfolk.
This Friday is WM Catering, followed by Tacos Mexico, and the Cravings Food Truck.
Trucks will be rotating in and out of this location every Friday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. until August 24th.
The goal is that people will come down for the grub and stick around to do some shopping.
