A barn completely destroyed by a fire with some damage done to a nearby bunkhouse.
The Norfolk County Fire Department was sent out St. John’s Road Friday afternoon after getting reports that the barn was fully engulfed in the flames.
Both the bunkhouse and barn were unoccupied when the fire began and no injuries were reported.
One firefighter was transported to the hospital with suspected heat exhaustion.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed at this time.
The estimated cost of damage is $50,000.
