The 178th edition of the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show will be forever known as a wet one. Rain and cloudy conditions dominated the week-long fair, but Fair GM George Araujo feels it was still a successful seven days. While numbers were down, he says the fair once again brought in thousands of visitors.
Despite the rain, the grandstands were full for both concerts on Friday and Saturday night. Young Canada Day was also packed with students who witnessed the Delhi Raiders win a 9th consecutive title. The fair ended on a good note, with a busy Monday that was filled with sunshine and hot and humid temperatures.
