Slightly behind 2014 but well ahead of 2010. Advanced polls closed in Norfolk County on Wednesday night with 8.2 percent of residents casting a ballot. This is well ahead of 2010 which saw around 6.5 percent of Norfolk’s population use the advanced polls but below 2014 where 9.4 percent turned out.
The county is asking that if you did not receive your voter notification card, then you should contact the county to ensure where your designated polling station is or check on the counties website under the election tap where they have a map of polling stations. Unlike the advanced votes, on October 22nd you can only vote at your assigned voting station. In total there was a 42% voter turn-out in 2014.
