If you lived in or visited Port Dover in the 1970's-80's, you may have purchased a wooden animal carving from Richard Thompkins, known locally as "Richard the Wood Carver." Featuring dozens of his beautiful, simple but stylized Canadian mammal carvings and a few unique pieces, this exhibit will tell the story of Richard and his menagerie of creatures, many of which are still cherished or collected today.
