The Ontario government has laid out COVID-19 holiday safety guidelines.
Premier Doug Ford says he knows how important the holidays are, but is urging everyone to follow the advice of medical experts.
Ford says we “can’t take any chances” when it comes to COVID-19.
Ontario families are being asked to only spend the winter holidays with those in their immediate households, but those who live alone can join another household to celebrate.
One of the rules set out by the province says children are not permitted to sit on Santa’s lap this year.
