Doug Ford’s press conference this afternoon saw the province introduce some new public health measures.
Face coverings are now being made mandatory across the province, though they are already mandatory in Haldimand and Norfolk.
Ford is also advising Ontarians to put a pause on social circles and only allow close contact with people living in their own household.
One of the biggest changes will see assessment centres move to an appointment-based system.
This move is not supposed to affect the vast majority of assessment centres already offering testing by appointment.
Beginning Sunday, assessment centres will discontinue walk-in testing services.
