
The Norfolk County OPP have laid charges in connection to an ongoing death investigation.
Police responded to an address on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe on Monday where 55-year-old Lorraine Dawley was found unresponsive and later died at the scene.
Through their investigation with the Norfolk County Major Crime Unit, the Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit and the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch arrested a 53-year-old Norfolk County man.
Michael Long is facing charges of trafficking of a controlled substance and is being held in custody.
On Friday May 8th, the Norfolk County OPP charged a second individual in relation to this investigation.
45 year old Jeffrey Steven McLean, from Norfolk County, has been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance contrary to section 5 (1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
McLean is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Saturday May 9th.
