Alpha Micro Tech in Brantford is doing its part to assist front line workers in the fight against COVID-19.
The company, which manufactures electronic devices for the dental industry, is on pause during the outbreak and has turned its attention to the creation of face mask ear holders.
Lorraine Pederson is the company’s Vice-President and Owner, she explains what they are.
Pederson says that they have sent over 200 of them to nurses, nursing homes and even animal care attendants across the country for free, something she finds incredibly rewarding.
Pederson wants to help out locally and is encouraging anyone who has to wear a surgical face mask to contact her.
