We are heading into the final stretch for the Christmas Ham campaign for Haldimand Norfolk Women’s Services.
Townsend Butchers have been accepting donations to put food on the plates of the Women’s Services many families that they are supporting.
Steve Miedema is the owner of Townsend Butchers, he explains that there are a couple of ways to donate up until Christmas Eve.
Miedema adds that the first $500 will be matched by the business.
This is the second year of the campaign.
Last year the campaign was a huge success and managed to not only provide a nice Christmas dinner for everyone on the HNWS list, but also provide their shelter with fresh meat products even after the season had ended.
