The Dover Coast Ladies Golf League has wrapped up its 2026 season by giving back to a project that will support families across Norfolk and Haldimand.
Throughout the season, members hit the course each week while raising money for Williamson House, the future home of Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice.
Their efforts resulted in an unprecedented $5,000 donation to the hospice project.
The donation comes shortly after Williamson House reached a major milestone, with ground officially broken September 23 in Jarvis. The hospice is being built on land donated by the Williamson family.
A local hospice was a longtime dream of Drew Williamson, who passed away in 2023 at the age of 93. His family has continued working to honour his wishes and help make that dream a reality.
Williamson House will provide hospice palliative care closer to home for local families and is expected to be completed in 2028.
