The Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show is going country this October with Canadian country star Tim Hicks leading the Friday night lineup.
Hicks will headline the Party on the Track on Friday, October 9, with rising Canadian country artist Alli Walker opening the show.
The concert, presented by Scotlynn, will be one of the featured entertainment events during this year’s Norfolk County Fair.
Hicks has spent more than a decade as one of Canada’s prominent country performers, earning multiple GOLD and PLATINUM-certified singles and JUNO Award nominations.
His catalogue includes “Get By,” “Stronger Beer,” “Here Comes the Thunder” and “No Truck Song.”
Ontario-born Walker will open the evening as she continues to build momentum on the Canadian country music scene.
Norfolk County Agricultural Society General Manager Angela Hogeveen says the combination of Hicks, Walker and a Friday night at the Fair should create a strong atmosphere at the Grandstand.
Fans will have an early opportunity to secure tickets through a radio presale beginning Monday, September 14 at 10 a.m.
Presale details and the password will be available through 98.9 myFM, 99.7 WOW FM, Tillsonburg’s New Country 107.3 and 101.3 Giant FM, as well as NorfolkToday.ca and OxfordToday.ca.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Tuesday, September 15 at 10 a.m. through the Norfolk County Fair.
