The Six Nations Chiefs are Major Series Lacrosse champions after finishing off the Peterborough Lakers on the road.
Six Nations defeated Peterborough 10-3 in Game 6 of the league final, winning the best-of-seven series four games to two.
The Chiefs wasted little time taking control, scoring five times in the opening period. Ian MacKay found the net twice, while Dhane Smith, Chris Cloutier and Shayne Jackson also scored.
The championship sends the Chiefs to the Mann Cup, where they will face the Coquitlam Adanacs.
Six Nations will host the national championship series beginning September 11 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Hagersville.
