Norfolk County OPP are asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with an ongoing threats investigation in Turkey Point.
Police were called to a location on Turkey Point Road shortly after noon on Thursday, August 20, following a report of threats.
Investigators determined that an unidentified individual had approached two people at the location sometime between 7 and 9 p.m. the previous evening.
Following an interaction with the two people, police say the individual brandished an edged weapon before fleeing the area in a white Honda SUV.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his early 40s with a heavier build, a scruffy beard and short dark hair. At the time, he was reportedly wearing a red shirt and grey pants.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police are appealing to anyone who may have information that could help identify the individual.
