UPDATE:
Norfolk County says it has received a large number of returned mail pieces addressed to Waterford-area property owners because of missing PO Box information.
If you have a PO Box at the Waterford Canada Post location and have not received your 2026 final property tax bill or other recent correspondence from the County, your mailing address may need to be updated.
The County is also encouraging residents to share the information with friends, family, neighbours and community groups in Waterford.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Norfolk County is encouraging property owners to review and update their mailing addresses after some County mailings were returned because of missing post office box numbers.
The County says important correspondence, including property tax bills, municipal election information, planning notices and waste management updates, could be affected.
Property owners can update their tax mailing address online or in person at ServiceNorfolk counters in Simcoe or Delhi, while address changes cannot be made by phone.
The County is also reminding property owners that tax payments are still due by the deadline, even if a tax bill has not been received.
