Norfolk Has Talent is returning to the stage.
The local talent showcase, which previously ran for seven seasons, is making its comeback with auditions scheduled for September and a live stage showcase planned for October.
General Manager Dave Kent says the event has always been about highlighting the performers who live right here in Norfolk County, and they’re excited to once again provide a stage for local singers, musicians, and other talented performers.
One of the key words there is “local.”
Auditions for the 2026 season will be held Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Simcoe Legion’s upper meeting room at 200 West Street in Simcoe.
Kent hopes to see a wide variety of acts over those two days.
While auditions will be open for walk-ins, Kent says they have launched a page where contestants can pre?register their act.
Twenty-two acts will be selected to perform at the live Norfolk Has Talent showcase on Saturday, October 24 at the Simcoe Composite School Auditorium.
They’re also looking for local businesses to help make the comeback season a success.
Sponsorship opportunities include financial contributions, providing products or services such as printing, transportation, accommodations, or meals, as well as promotional partnerships.
Volunteers are also needed.
