Norfolk County OPP are asking for the public’s help after approximately $20,000 worth of aluminum hydro wire was stolen from a property in Simcoe.
Police say officers responded to a theft report on Hunt Street South shortly before noon on July 20.
Investigators determined the theft occurred sometime between July 2 and July 15, when one or more unknown suspects attended the property and removed a large quantity of aluminum hydro wire.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Anyone with information about the theft or the people responsible is asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference incident number E261033798.
Police are also encouraging anyone with surveillance footage or other relevant information to come forward.
