A Hamilton woman is facing an impaired driving charge after a traffic complaint in Caledonia.
Haldimand County OPP say officers responded around 3:08 a.m. Sunday after receiving reports of a vehicle stopped in a live lane on Highway 6. Police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
During the investigation, officers determined the driver was impaired. The driver was arrested and taken to the Hamilton Police Service for further testing.
The accused has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs. She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on Sept. 25.
