The Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for the public’s help after a truck tractor was stolen from a rural property near Courtland.
Police say officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on Tuesday, July 7, at approximately 8:46 p.m. The theft occurred at a property on Jackson Side Road, just outside Courtland.
Investigators determined the truck was taken sometime between Saturday, June 27, and Tuesday, July 7. Police believe one or more unknown individuals attended the property and stole a yellow 2010 International 70S truck tractor with Ontario licence plate CF97080.
The vehicle is equipped with an electronic logging device and is easily identifiable by the words “C. SPENCE HAULAGE” displayed prominently on both sides.
The Norfolk OPP continue to investigate and are hoping someone may have seen the truck or has information that could help identify those responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122 and reference incident E260962929. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers if preferred.
Police have released a photo of the stolen truck to assist in the investigation and are encouraging anyone who may have seen it to come forward.
