A disturbance at a business in Delhi has resulted in charges against two women following an early Sunday morning police investigation.
Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a business on James Street at about 1:27 a.m. on July 5 after receiving a report of a disturbance in progress.
Police say four people arrived at the business in a vehicle and became involved in an interaction with employees. During the incident, one passenger allegedly assaulted and threatened an employee. No injuries were reported.
Officers located the vehicle at the scene and arrested both the passenger and the driver without incident.
31-year-old Nicole Culetta of Markham has been charged with assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, being intoxicated in a public place, and having liquor in an open container in an unauthorized place. She is scheduled to appear in court in Simcoe on September 29.
33-year-old Michelle Bonaccorso of Norfolk County is charged with refusing to comply with a demand and failing to surrender a driver’s licence. She is scheduled to appear in court on August 18.
