The Simcoe Farmers’ Market will remain open despite the ongoing power outage affecting parts of Simcoe.
Market organizers said vendors who rely on electricity for cooking or refrigeration will not be attending unless power is restored before the market begins.
Despite those absences, shoppers will still find a wide variety of products available from vendors both inside and outside the market.
Organizers say they look forward to welcoming customers and appreciate the community’s understanding as they deal with the temporary disruption caused by the power outage.
