Paid parking is now in effect in Norfolk County’s popular lakeside communities for the 2026 summer season, with daily enforcement running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Labour Day.
The program applies to designated parking areas in Port Dover, Turkey Point and Long Point. In Port Dover, paid parking is in effect at the Clinton Street parking lot, the Lift Bridge Parking Lot and on Harbour Street near the museum. In Turkey Point, it covers Cedar Drive from Turkey Point Road to Old Hill Road, while in Long Point it includes Erie Boulevard and the Abigail Becker parking lot.
Parking rates remain unchanged for a fourth consecutive year at $4 per hour. Motorists can pay using the HotSpot app, by scanning posted QR codes or at electronic pay terminals. Cash payments are not accepted.
Norfolk County residents and property owners can purchase a seasonal resident permit for $35 per vehicle, which provides up to four hours of paid parking each day.
Vehicles parked without payment in designated paid zones may face a $75 fine. Drivers displaying a valid Ministry of Transportation Accessible Parking Permit may park free of charge in marked accessible spaces within paid parking areas.
