A customer is facing charges after an alleged assault at a business in Delhi over the weekend.
Norfolk County OPP say officers responded to a 9-1-1 call at about 3:47 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, after reports of an assault at a business on Main Street in Delhi.
Police say the investigation found that an interaction took place between a customer and an employee inside the store. During the incident, the customer allegedly assaulted the employee and also damaged property inside the business.
OPP said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Following the investigation, 51-year-old Sandfield Koza of Oxford County was arrested and charged with assault and mischief for allegedly destroying or damaging property.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on September 15, 2026, to answer to the allegations.
