Construction work is now underway at the Talbot Gardens parking lot in Simcoe as Norfolk County begins a full reconstruction project aimed at improving the space for residents and visitors.
The project includes asphalt removal, regrading, new asphalt installation, and updated line painting throughout the parking lot. County officials say the work is expected to refresh and improve the parking area while addressing long-term maintenance needs.
The Talbot Gardens parking lot will remain closed during construction, with the project expected to take approximately three weeks to complete. Residents and visitors are being encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate parking locations while the work is underway.
Norfolk County says the upgrades are part of ongoing infrastructure improvements taking place throughout the community.
