Community members in Simcoe are being encouraged to take part in a spring clean-up effort aimed at improving a popular local walking route.
The Pathways for People initiative will host a volunteer clean-up of the Norfolk Sunrise Trail on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Participants are asked to meet at the Argyle Street parking lot before heading out along the trail to collect litter and debris.
Organizers say the effort helps maintain the trail as a safe, clean, and accessible recreational space for residents and visitors.
The clean-up is part of broader community-led efforts to support active transportation routes and encourage outdoor recreation.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate.
