A community document shredding fundraiser is set to take place this weekend in Delhi, offering residents a secure way to dispose of personal and financial paperwork while supporting local programs. The event is being hosted by the Soroptimist International of Haldimand Norfolk on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 467 James Street.
A mobile shredding truck will be on-site to safely destroy documents, giving residents a convenient option to protect sensitive information while decluttering at home or work. Organizers say the initiative also helps raise funds for projects that support women and girls across the community.
Participation is by donation, with all proceeds directed toward Soroptimist programs and initiatives focused on improving the lives of women and girls locally. Residents are encouraged to bring any unwanted personal, financial, or confidential documents for secure disposal.
