Norfolk County OPP are asking for the public’s help after a pontoon boat and trailer were reported stolen from a property in Port Dover.
Police say officers were called to Hamilton Plank Road on Saturday, May 9, at approximately 11:35 a.m. after receiving a report of a theft. Investigators determined that sometime between May 4 and May 9, one or more unidentified individuals entered the property and removed a 2023 Barletta Cabrio 22UC pontoon boat along with its trailer.
According to police, the stolen boat displayed registration number ON8937715. The trailer is described as a 2023 Load Rite boat trailer bearing Ontario licence plate S2830L.
OPP say the investigation remains ongoing as officers work to identify those responsible and locate the missing property. A photograph of the stolen boat has also been released to assist with the investigation.
Police are encouraging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area or who may have information about the whereabouts of the boat or trailer to contact the Norfolk County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
