Eising Greenhouses & Garden Centre is celebrating a major milestone this weekend — 60 years in operation within the community.
We spoke with owner Henry Eising about the significance of the anniversary. He noted that, much like how a small seed can grow into something remarkable, that’s exactly how the business itself began and flourished over six decades.
Saturday’s celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature food trucks, live entertainment, and a $600 gift card giveaway. Even the music has been chosen to reflect the roots of the business and the family behind it.
Eising says it was important to make the event enjoyable for all ages, ensuring there are activities and attractions to keep kids entertained throughout the day.
He adds that the anniversary isn’t just about marking time in business — it’s about honouring the generations of customers who have supported Eising Greenhouses since the very beginning.
