Residents are being invited to take a closer look at the night sky at a community astronomy event in Port Dover.
The North Shore Erie Amateur Astronomers will host an informal drop-in session focused on amateur stargazing.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore telescopes, watch a presentation, and speak with experienced members about how to get started.
Organizers say the event is designed to be beginner-friendly, with no need for expensive equipment or prior knowledge. The goal is to make astronomy accessible and encourage curiosity about the night sky.
The session is scheduled for 3 p.m. today (April 9) at the Port Dover Branch, and is open to anyone interested in learning more about stargazing.
