The Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate two separate vehicle thefts reported in different parts of the region.
Police say the first incident occurred in Vittoria, where a 2008 GMC Sierra pickup truck was stolen from a property on McDowell Road East sometime between the overnight hours of March 23 and 24. The vehicle is described as having tinted windows, a lifted suspension, 20-inch Moto Metal rims, 35-inch Nitto tires, and a Harley-Davidson sticker on the rear window.
In a separate incident, officers are also searching for a stolen 2012 John Deere RSX-850i utility terrain vehicle. The UTV was taken from a property on Windham Road 12 in Delhi between April 5 and 6.
Police have not indicated whether the two thefts are connected, but are continuing to investigate both incidents. Residents are being reminded to take precautions to help prevent vehicle thefts, including locking vehicles, removing keys and valuables, and reporting any suspicious activity in their neighbourhoods.
